All Parental Care Australia is an Approved Provider of Aged Care as approved by the Dept of Health and Ageing.
APCare provides services to frail older people, people with disability, accident survivors with a variety of needs (including brain injury, spinal injury and other physical impairments), people requiring palliative care, people with dementia and people with children. Special needs sub-groups of all the above target groups are catered for as well.
As an approved provider APCare complies with HACC Standards and endorses the rights of aged care recipients receiving in-home care and support to:
- be informed and consulted about the care most appropriate to their needs
- receive culturally appropriate service
- be treated with respect and dignity
- access fair and equitable procedures for dealing with complaints and disputes
- ensure their privacy and confidentiality is respected
- receive efficient and effectively managed service
- have an advocate speak on their behalf
