We can arrange for staff to help you with basic household tasks
such as washing dishes, doing laundry, vacuuming, dusting, meal
preparation and shopping. All the home care help you need is negotiated
with you - we don't come in with a 'one-size-fits-all' approach.
This means we can help you with:
Home Light Duties
Conducted on a regular basis or 1 off which can include:
- Washing
- Ironing
- Vacuuming/Sweeping/Mopping interior and exterior areas
- Bathroom cleaning
- Dusting and Polishing
- Shopping (for food and other items such as hygiene, grooming
and cleaning products)
Home Major / 'Spring' Cleans
These can include:
- Storage Cupboards/Areas (kitchen, linen. attic etc.) emptied,
sorted, aired and re-packed
- Window Cleaning
- Ceiling Cobweb Cleans
- Skirting board and architrave wiping
- Silver and Crystal Polishing (major)
Meal Preparation
On a daily, weekly or one-off basis which
can include:
- Cooking to a Set Menu (special diets and creation of custom
food textures can be specially catered)
- Preparing meal portions to freeze and reheat
- Menu Planning around your dietary requirements (includes special
diets)
- Shopping based on an agreed shopping list
While APCare provides these services directly,
we can also sub-contract reliable businesses we use on a regular
basis to provide other regular services such as garden maintenance
and gutter cleaning. We also can arrange other one-off or 'as needed'
services such as pest control, building maintenance and repairs.
