APCare is looking for staff to work in their local area and provide
a variety of supports and care to different types of clients - older
people, people with disability, people recovering from injury,
families and children.
We look for staff with experience and
qualifications in various areas. But don't let your lack of formal
qualifications put you off! Most of all, we look for people who
have certain aptitudes (or leanings in a particular direction)
and a willingness to learn and which is often backed up by years
of experience in running a family, working in a home/family business
or caring for a loved one. Tell us about your unique experience
and let us see whether we can help you take advantage of our extensive
training program.
In order to be employed by us, you need to fill in an Expression of Interest Form.
You will be contacted and asked to come in for an interview with
our friendly staff. If we have opportunities that suit your skills
and experience, we will carry out a Reference Check and ask you
to apply for (or supply, if current) a Criminal Record Check.
Our ongoing training program supports our staff to develop the
skills, experience and confidence needed to deal with the many
different situations they face working in clients' homes and in
the community.
We offer a comprehensive induction program and have opportunities
for further learning and development including:
- Occupational Health & Safety Training
