Our Values

Person-Centred Care

" I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your help. I found your team very reliable, flexible and responsive to client’s needs and would have no hesitation to make future referrals to AP Care or recommend your services to others. Best wishes and kind regards."

Marcella Forman Senior Case Manager Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit

APCare affirms the intrinsic worth of each individual. APCare believe that no person should be robbed of their dignity or quality of life, or be excluded from participating in their community, because of their age, disability, injury or frailty.

Our CEO is committed to the flexible practices necessary to respond to individual needs, including special needs and consistently reinforcing the need for staff to work in partnership with carers, family and friends. This philosophy reflected at all levels of APCare – from frontline Care Workers and Nurses right through to the Executive Support Team.

On-Going Customer Service

We actively manage our relationship with our clients by following up with both the client and staff member during the initial commencement of service to ensure the care relationship is working. We maintain regular contact with clients to ensure their requirements continue to be met. We have systems in place for regular feedback on our services to ensure we maintain our high standards.

Commitment to Client Privacy

All client details are strictly protected at APCare. We comply with the Commonwealth Privacy Act’s provisions not just because we have to, but because it is the right thing to do. Rigorous Business Systems

APCare has a comprehensive set of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures in place which have been audited by CMS Rehabilitation, an accredited auditing company under Workcover NSW. Our extensive OH&S systems are prevention focussed and include comprehensive training, an OH&S committee which meets regularly, safety representatives and regular workplace audits.

APCare ensures that all staff supply a criminal history check every 3 years, Working with Children Checks are done before staff commence employment and all vehicles used for work are subject to a quarterly assessment by staff.

Client feedback is requested as a matter of course - both informally and as part of our annual quality improvement processes.

Initial and Ongoing Training for Staff
