A.P. Care Services is committed to the health, welfare, and safety of all A.P. Care Services employees and the people we support. All procedural decisions and requests are made with this commitment in mind. Our staff are 100% vaccinated against Covid-19 and we believe that by keeping our employees safe and healthy and by taking all necessary precautions to achieve this outcome, that we in turn can provide the safest care for the people we support.
What we’re doing
All direct support staff receive COVID19 Safety Packs for use while attending each service. Each pack consists of PPE including masks, goggles, gloves, aprons and sanitiser.
We regularly update all employees on personal hygiene best practice, including handwashing, social distancing, and PPE application and disposal.
Vaccination is important to us at A.P. Care Services, and all employees are fully vaccinated.
Our environment is routinely cleaned, following the Australian guideline for the prevention and control of infection in healthcare.
